John Paul Jackson
After graduating from Paisley College of Technology in 1986, John Paul joined CIN Properties based in their Edinburgh Office as a Trainee Surveyor, gaining experience in Shopping Centre Asset Management.
In 1990 he relocated to London, joining Chesterton's shopping centre management department and eventually reached the position of Associate Director, managing The Chantry Centre Andover, The Malls in Basingstoke, The Crowngate Centre in Worcester, and the Gracechurch Shopping Centre for a range of companies.
In 1997, Strutt and Parker made John Paul an offer he couldn't refuse and he joined as Head of Retail Management, building up a small team of four surveyors to manage the Pearl Assurance fund for Henderson comprising a number of retail parks and high street retail investments throughout the UK.
Having built up an impressive CV he joined Lambert Smith Hampton to create a specialist shopping centre management team taking the Haslemere instruction with him and being appointed by a wide range of clients including HBG Properties, Swan Hill Properties, Park Lane Estates, Centros miller, Montagu Goldsmith, Marcus King and the Delancey/ Land Securities Metro fund. John Paul and his colleague Lucy Peel were recently hired by Churston Heard, bringing their client British Land with them and broadening the firm's total offering.
